Dear Tanenbaum Community,
On behalf of us all at Tanenbaum, I would like to share our deepest gratitude to all who attended and supported us last night at our 2025 Gala: Peace Made Possible. What a joy to see you all!
Together, we celebrated our incredible honorees Nadine Augusta, Alison Overseth, Dr. Azza Karam, and honored the life and legacy of Dr. Leonard S. Polonsky CBE. We also had the pleasure of being joined by Amira Musallam and formally announced her status as one of Tanenbaum’s two new Peacemakers in Action alongside Ufra Mira.
I cannot express my gratitude enough for the community that we have built together. If you were unable to join us, it is not too late to donate and support our mission to create a world that respects religious diversity. Please click here to make a donation.
I leave you with a quote from Dr. Azza Karam in response to her work building bridges across faiths: Â “There is wisdom to this remarkable diversity. We are meant not just to coexist, but to know one another. To know is to engage, to listen, to enjoy, to love, to honor. I don’t see interfaith as an added job or option, it’s the faith of all of us coming together.”
Thank you all so much for your support, and stay tuned for more from the evening.
In gratitude,
Rev. Mark Fowler, CEO, Tanenbaum
