Welcome to Tanenbaum Training

Conscience Rules

Children’s Museum Houston

The Faithful Friends training program empowers museum educators—both volunteers and professionals—to promote understanding, respect, and inclusivity while facilitating learning about religious differences and similarities within the Faithful Friends exhibit.

Through interactive pathways, participants engage with custom-designed tools and activities that explore essential themes such as religious identity, effective communication, and strategies for creating welcoming environments. This program equips educators with practical skills, reflective insights, and pedagogical strategies to confidently navigate conversations about religious differences. Drawing on Tanenbaum's expert resources, the training ensures that educators can foster spaces where diverse religious identities are respected and celebrated.

Combating Religious Prejudice

Our Mission

Tanenbaum promotes justice and builds respect for religious difference by transforming individuals and institutions to reduce prejudice, hatred, and violence. As a secular and non-sectarian non-profit, Tanenbaum works to promote religious peacebuilders who help counter extremism and violence in armed conflicts, and tackles religious bullying of students, harassment in workplaces, and disparate health treatment for people based on their beliefs.
