Tanenbaum is the global leader tackling religious bias in the workplace. Every day, you interact with customers, clients and colleagues from different religious backgrounds. With workplace diversity increasing across the U.S. and around the world, Tanenbaum provides proactive solutions to end workplace bullying and workplace discrimination.
For more than 15 years, Tanenbaum has expanded multicultural education to include religious diversity. As an educator, parent, or student, use our practical tools to reduce and eliminate bullying and malice. Many Tanenbaum resources address or are aligned with Common Core Standards.
Tanenbaum’s Peacemakers in Action Network is at the center of our activist and academic work in conflict resolution/transformation, and peacebuilding. We count on the Peacemakers to sow the seeds of peace among raging violence. And they count on us to provide them with support, resources, and a framework to connect with each other.
Religion plays a major role in the decision-making of patients, but most medical professionals are not trained to address this when providing care. Tanenbaum trains doctors and nurses to understand how cultural competence and recognizing religion-based health decisions result in better patient-centered care.
Interreligious Affairs informs our programs (Workplace, Health Care, Education, and Peacebuilding) by furthering the work of our namesake, Rabbi Marc H. Tanenbaum – to build a safer, more equitable world for people of all belief systems. Today, Rabbi Tanenbaum’s longtime scholarly partner, Judith Banki continues the research, analysis, and dialogue that was such an important part of Rabbi Tanenbaum’s legacy.
