Tanenbaum’s Peacebuilding Program is at the center of our activist and academic work in conflict resolution. Through Tanenbaum’s Peacemaker in Action Network, we count on our Peacemakers to sow the seeds of peace in their communities across the globe.
Tanenbaum’s Peacemakers come from different religions, cultures, and regions to work together. We are honored to welcome our two newest Peacemakers, Amira Musallam and Ufra Mir. Amira is a Palestinian Catholic activist coordinating unarmed civilian protection in the West Bank, and Ufra Mir is a Muslim peace-psychologist from Kashmir who works with communities at the intersection of mental health and psychosocial support.
