Sacred and Seen – A Mentoring Program for Health Care Professionals

Rev. Karen Bona, Health Care Program Manager, Presents Project Echo at the Conference on Medicine and Religion

Dear Friends,

Giving Tuesday may have passed, but there is still time to make a difference.

Your gift can help fund our Health Care program’s newly launched project, Sacred and Seen: An ECHO Program Bridging LGBTQ+ Health and Religion.

Sacred and Seen is a virtual mentoring program that connects health care professionals across organizations. The goal of this partnership is to improve care for LGBTQ+ patients of all religions and none by exploring the unique circumstances at the intersection of religion and LGBTQ+ health care.

Recently, our Health Care program conducted its first ECHO Program session where participants exchanged their experience and expertise freely to improve patient care.  With your support, Tanenbaum will be able to create a network of health care professionals and provide free training so that doctors, nurses, and other health experts are better equipped to serve LGBTQ+ patients with compassion and respect.

Consider supporting our Health Care program’s work today. Click here to donate!

In gratitude,

Rev. Mark Fowler
