Join Sacred and Seen: A Growing Community Transforming LGBTQ+ Patient Care

Dear Friends,

Many LGBTQ+ patients experience health care settings as challenging or unsafe when navigating the intersection of religion and identity. Sacred and Seen equips providers to change that.

This first-of-its kind ECHO program  is a community of practice where providers from all disciplines share experiences, gain practical skills, and collaborate across faith-based and secular health care settings. Join our next session on June 25th, at 2PM ET!

Through interactive presentations and discussion-based learning, participants explore how faith, spirituality, and institutional culture shape care. Our ECHO sessions also strengthen providers’ capacity to provide religio-culturally competent care for LGBTQ+ patients of all religions and none. Each Zoom session combines expert presentations with interactive case discussions, giving participants the chance to learn from one another and apply new insights to real-world challenges. At a time when LGBTQ+ and religious identities are often marginalized and seen as incompatible, this program provides a unique space to explore them together with compassion, curiosity, and respect.

Our next session, “Religious Trauma and LGBTQ+ Patients” is on June 25, 2026, at 2 pm ET. Don’t miss the chance to join this trailblazing community.  Join us today and help shape a more inclusive future in health care.
