On October 23rd at the Edison Ballroom, Tanenbaum will posthumously present Dr. Leonard S. Polonsky CBE with the Philanthropic Bridge Builder Award. Dr. Polonsky was a lifelong advocate for respecting religious differences and a key pillar of our community.
At the ceremony, the award will be accepted by his son, Marc Polonsky, and stepson, Josh Tanenbaum. In addition, there will be a short video tribute at the event, followed by remarks.
Impossible to overstate, Dr. Polonsky’s legacy inspired many and will continue to galvanize future generations in the ongoing mission to build a more just world.
This award solemnly recognizes the enormous influence of his life and work, with his passing being a loss not just to Tanenbaum but to the world. In the years that come, the Philanthropic Bridge Builder Award will bear his name in perpetuity, honoring his generosity and commitment to charitable giving.
