Executive Orders and Our Unwavering Commitment

Dear Tanenbaum Community,

Amid the current administration’s recent executive orders and their implications at work, we know that the need to promote meaningful workplace inclusion for employees of all faiths and none has not changed.

Despite shifts and tremors in the landscape around diversity efforts, religious diversity will always exist in our places of work. Tanenbaum’s commitment to ensure employees of all religions and none have their beliefs and practices respected in the workforce, workplace, and marketplace is as essential as ever.

Just last month, we attended BYU’s 3rd Annual MBA Case Competition on Faith and Belief at Work. Together with over 15 companies and students from MBA programs nationally and abroad, we encouraged solutions to address the business case for accommodating faith and belief at work. Through these efforts, we resoundingly agreed that inclusion for people of all faiths and none at work remains paramount.

Despite policy changes, people across industries are actively working towards advancing interreligious understanding in the workplace. In the past 60 days alone, our Workplace program has offered trainings on topics like addressing religious diversity at work, combating bias towards individuals of certain faiths, and navigating religious holiday accommodations throughout the year.

Our trainings and practical resources support companies in creating and nurturing respectful workplaces that promote belonging. Here are some helpful resources to steady the course with us:

To the work ahead,
