In honor of yesterday’s IV Nurses’ Day, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the nurses working worldwide to care for patients and combat the Covid-19 pandemic. Often serving as the first line of patient care, nurses spend more time with patients and have more influence over a patient’s experience than almost any other health care provider. As such, it is important to ensure that all nurses have the tools and resources they need to provide the best care for their patients, while also being able to maintain their own health and happiness.
These resources include, among many other essentials, the education and information required to meet the needs and address the concerns of all patients, regardless of identity and/or background. Our upcoming webinar series, broadly titled ‘Conscientious Care’ can help prepare providers to navigate current issues and challenges within health care. The series will cover and provide information on a variety of different hot topics in health care each month. Our first session, which will be held this Friday, January 28th from 12:00-1:00pm (ET), will examine the relationship between vaccinations and religious beliefs.
All sessions of this informational webinar series will be hosted on the last Friday of each month and will feature important and timely conversations with distinguished speakers. For more information and to register for these events, please visit our Eventbrite page.
I hope you all had a wonderful IV Nurses’ Day! And, special thanks to all the nurses, both past and present, who hold our hands and have our backs when we need them.
