Tanenbaum’s Conscientious Care Webinar Series

Dear Friends,

As we ring in the New Year, we take this time to reflect on the past and explore new, more inclusive ways forward in the year ahead. In this spirit, our Health Care program has organized an informational webinar series that discusses a different, timely topic each month. This series will feature different perspectives and contributors and will cover numerous hot topics in health care, from how vaccination and COVID-19 have affected different religious communities, to gaining a better understanding of how people with different identities navigate and are treated in health care settings.

For our first webinar, we will be discussing the relationship between religious beliefs and vaccinations. Our speakers will discuss questions such as

  • Do religious communities have a higher rate of anti-vax sentiments?
  • What are the official positions of religious communities and leaders on vaccinations?
  • How can health spaces accommodate religious objections to vaccines?
  • How can the CDC and other governmental organizations engage with religious communities to alleviate fears and promote understanding around vaccinations?

We hope you will be able to join us for this important conversation. Please review the schedule for the topics, dates, and times each month.

You can register for all sessions here, through our Zoom link!

We look forward to seeing you!

Warm regards,

The Health Care Team
