Caring for the Whole Patient: National Patient Recognition Week

February 1-7 is National Patient Recognition Week. We gratefully recognize all those who have shared their care experiences with Tanenbaum. The Medical Manual for Religio-Cultural Competence: Caring for Religiously Diverse Populations helps providers care for the whole patient. The Medical Manual offers comprehensive guidance on how faith beliefs and practices can influence medical decision making among eleven major world religions.

Without patients who dedicate their time and stories, we could not have designed the Medical Manual to help create health care that honors patients of all backgrounds.
