We’re so grateful to all who joined us yesterday evening for our Women’s History Month screening of the film, Long Line of Ladies.
Together, we explored the history of the Ihuk ceremony and the power of storytelling to build respect across communities. As our panelist and Long Line of Ladies cast member, Alme Allen, shared, “Society lately teaches us to put ourselves first. This film is about the collective, and how as a collective, we can heal.”
A special thank you to our friends at Google for hosting us, to our incredible panelists Shaandiin Tome and Alme Allen, and to our wonderful guests.
If you attended the event and would like to share your feedback, we’d love to hear from you. Please take 5 minutes to fill out our post-screening survey linked here.
Stay tuned for photos of the evening coming soon, and follow our events page for more opportunities to join us this year.
We hope to see you again soon!
