Tanenbaum’s 29 Peacemakers in Action continued to provide support, education, health care, and relief to 500,000+ children, women, and other vulnerable communities across 23 conflict zones.

Throughout the year, our Health Care program trained 250+ medical professionals in religio-cultural competence with support from partners including New York City Health and Hospitals and the Initiative on Islam and Medicine.
- Our Workplace program had a record-breaking year, reaching a total of 65 corporate membership companies, a 35% increase from 2021. Our Workplace program welcomed 13 Members at the Leadership level, and hosted over 50 trainings
and speaking engagements, reaching over 50,000+ people. -
In partnership with the New York City Department of Education, more than 600 teachers participated in professional development sessions on conflict resolution, respecting religious diversity, and teaching about religion in an inclusive classroom.
- In October, Judith Banki was honored at Tanenbaum’s 30th Anniversary Gala, receiving the Rabbi Marc H. Tanenbaum Award for the Advancement of Interreligious Understanding. Our gala brought together 186 attendees and raised $550,285.
