Upcoming Jewish Fall Holidays

Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) and Yom Kippur (Jewish Day of Atonement) will take place this year between September 25th to the 27th and October 4th to the 5th, respectively. Together, these holidays are all known as the High Holy Days and are often regarded as the most important of all the Jewish holidays.

Observations typically begin and end around sundown of the dates noted above. Employees, coworkers, and colleagues who are observing these holidays may request time off to attend services and celebrate with family and friends.
Learn more about both holidays and other seasonal holidays in Tanenbaum’s Jewish Fall Holidays Fact Sheet.
