Half and Full-day Workshop Objectives:

  • Overcome concerns and fears regarding teaching about religion
  • Learn how to incorporate religion into lesson plans in accordance with state and federal laws and in alignment with national standards
  • Create action plans for incorporating lessons from theReligions in My Neighborhood curriculum into classrooms and afterschool settings
  • Explore Tanenbaum’s pedagogy, The Seven Principles for Inclusive Education, and brainstorm how to incorporate the Principles into their own lesson plans across grade levels and subject areas.

Training workshops are available for educators, after-school practitioners, pre-service educators, curriculum staff who work with or support curriculum needs of K-4 students.
