Dear Tanenbaum Community,
We are happy to announce the recipient of this year’s Adam Solomon Award for Excellence, Dr. Tim Hall. Each year at our annual Celebration, the Adam Solomon Award for Excellence is given to individuals and organizations whose work embodies leadership, strategic vision, and creativity, all qualities most valued by our late founding board member Adam Solomon. Through his years of leadership in the Vance County Schools system and longstanding partnership with Tanenbaum’s education department, Tim is beyond exemplary of these values.
Tim Hall, Ph.D., is the K-12 Social Studies Instructional Coordinator for Vance County Schools and Principal of Vance County Early College High School in North Carolina. Dr. Hall’s work uplifts civic and religious literacy, global competence, inquiry-driven instruction, and culturally responsive education in his classrooms and other academic endeavors. He has played a critical role in the expansion of Tanenbaum’s Education program, and most specifically the success of our Network of Inclusive Educators®.
Please click here to purchase tickets and learn about sponsorships for the Celebration or email our Senior Event Coordinator, Simon Beer, at [email protected].
If you’re unable to join us, please consider donating in celebration of Tim’s work.
We hope you can join us!
Sincerely,
Rev. Mark Fowler
