This resource is a guided classroom exercise to help students explore bias in common GenAI tools. Through the “AI vs. the Text” model of instruction, students will ask a GenAI tool to explain a topic, then compare its answer to a reputable source. While this handout explores religious and historical bias in AI, the topics can be switched out to investigate AI bias across any topic (e.g., geography, biology, music theory).
