Steps of Respect: Earth Day

Dear Tanenbaum Community,

Caring for the Earth is in harmony with a number of religions and traditions. Our Shared Visions resource reflects how respect for the environment around us is a common thread tying together communities of different faiths.

Earth Day is a time to intentionally uplift environmental concerns and think critically about what solutions to such concerns may look like. People of various beliefs and backgrounds are coming together today to give voice to pressing environmental issues affecting our planet, from climate change to preservation.

Daily, we must acknowledge our collective responsibility to protect, uplift, and preserve the home we share. We must continue to educate ourselves, and work with others to invest in the well-being of our Earth however we can.

Below is an offering of resources to take those steps of respect side by side with us.

Reflections on how these resources were used to engage in conversations around building respect can be given in video format, recorded directly on the platform itself, or through written response HERE.
