Conscientious Care Webinar: Basics of Bahá’í

Dear Friends,

Over a decade ago, Tanenbaum published The Medical Manual for Religio-Cultural Competence, the premier reference book for providers on how to navigate religious concerns related to patients’ care. Hospitals, clinicians, and health care institutions across the country have used our Medical Manual to provide better patient-centered care.

We were very fortunate to receive a generous grant from the Wayfarer Foundation to add a chapter on the Bahá’í Faith to the Manual. After working very hard this past year on this new chapter, we are pleased to announce its completion.

We would also like to invite you to its launch webinar on Thursday, December 16th at 4:00pm (ET). Joined by Bahá’í practitioner, Dr. Sina Firouzi, this webinar will dive into the main intersections of the Bahá’í Faith and medical care and, more generally, how to use our Medical Manual in practice. We hope you will join us!
