This just in … Ramy Youssef will be accepting our Les Crystal Media Bridge Builder award on June 3rd at our upcoming Gala! The award is presented to journalistic and media personalities whose work focuses public attention on issues of human rights and intergroup relations.
Ramy Youssef is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and director known for his role as Ramy Hassan on the hit Hulu comedy series Ramy. Ramy does a phenomenal job highlighting the struggles of a first-generation Muslim-Arab and the challenges of growing up in Western culture. Youssef won the 2019 Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy and was nominated for several awards including two Primetime Emmys!
