These top candidates do outstanding grassroots peace work in countries ranging from Uganda to Guatemala to Papua New Guinea and beyond. Their activities include providing services for the displaced, advocating on behalf of indigenous populations, healing tribal conflicts, protecting the rights of women, and many more.
