I have not been a Tanenbaum team member for long, but I believe in Tanenbaum’s mission and enjoy promoting our work. One of our current projects is as a founding member of Prepare New York, a groundbreaking coalition of interfaith organizations promoting civil conversations, education about religious pluralism, support for those who are marginalized for their beliefs, and events around the 10th anniversary of 9/11.
Prepare New York recently posted a short video called “We the People” to Youtube. It is powerful and, for me, chill inducing. The video shows where our great country has been and where we have the potential to go. I hope that you take the opportunity to give it a look.
“We the People” has sparked heated debate in the comments section below the video and possibly beyond. If you feel inclined, share your thoughts in that comment section, on the Prepare New York website, or in your daily life. I think I’ll do the same.
