Panel Discussion on “Teaching the Sacred in the Secular Classroom” at the New York Public Library

On Tuesday, October 26th from 5-7p.m., Anshu Wahi, our Program Associate in Religion and Diversity Education will join other expert educators, scholars and faith leaders to discuss issues of teaching the sacred in secular contexts on a panel at the New York Public Library. Executive Vice President and CEO, Joyce Dubensky will serve as moderator.

Other panel members represent institutions including Columbia University, New York City public and private schools, the Interfaith Center of New York and Women in Islam, Inc.
 
This program is being presented in conjunction with the Three Faiths: Judaism, Christianity, Islam exhibition currently on view at the Library’s Stephen A. Schwarzman Building (42nd St. & 5th Ave.).
